National Championships - Cheer

Taylor was on cheer for half a year after the coach - a friend - 

needed a tumbler asn my gymnast daughter was what she was looking for

 to round out the squad.  Taylor agreed to join, but not 

before she talked her BFF Jill into it!! 

 Low & behold a few months in - they found themselves in Niagra falls 

at the National Championships!!

Wow - that was crazy!!!

 The background paper here is the cover of the program.

I traced the letters in glitter as that's what cheer is - LOUD BLING!

the line is their team from the program - 

there wasn't alot in there,

ads & more ads.

This layout was created AWHILE ago seriously, 

but like I said I found a cache of them.

I like to add them all to the blog 'incase' some thing ever happen to them - 

I can still look here & family ans friends near and far can see what I make!

We spend hours and $$$ - so I like to share my creations!!

Parker Puppy

Sometimes you stumble across pictures that you just need to scrapbook - 

even though they are from years ago 

& you can not understand how you have not scrapped them yet!!

 This layout was creatyed with left over pieced of paper on my desk & 

some left over stickers from YEARS ago.  

I know the collar is Karen Foster from a store that hasn't been in Thunder Bay 

in more than 12 years, Yikes!!

Parker is now 6 and still steals my heart - 

he is such a good boy!

I created this with the Simple stories line

this is an area close to where we camp that my kids love to go to - 

I have so many pictures from this area every year 

I could make an album with just this topic!!! lol

Thank You Berry Much

I was asked to make a thank you card 

to accompany a fruit tray for a friends co-workers.

She wanted the sentiment - Thank you berry much, 

added to the card.  Now we can'y always have all the stamps 

that we dream up so I used word to create the sentiment!!

This card is really quite large ( a 8.5 x 11 folded in half).

She wanted enough room to write a message ans I figured if 

it was sitting on the staff room table - it should be seen.

 I added crystal effects to the berries - to give the card interest & 

Ised pop foam to lift the wreath up.

All in all I think it turned out GREAT!! 

& she loved it too bonus!!

July Papercraft Business Challenge - SKY!

Hello friends - 

well I am a whole lot late getting the monthly challenge up ! 

I AM SORRY!! 

I had a few technical issues - there is nothing more frustrating!

how ever I am here today to share the always amazing monthly challenge at 

Papercraft Business!

This months theme is UP IN THE AIR 

Here is my take on it :

 When I read the challenge I flipped through my book of stamps & 

stopped at my MFT Dragons!!

I knew I wanted to create a card with them on clouds - 

this is usually how I display these guys. 

 I started by inking the background with Salty Ocean by 

Tim Holtz - I used a template a made with my Lawn Fawn cloud dies.

 I this cut a frame & a bunch of clouds and inked the edges.

we all know I love layers!

I added Wink of Stella to the wings, spikes & horns to give a little interest.

 When I put it together, I stacked them up and they really are quite high.

That's ok - it makes it more interesting!!

The Office ~ Michael Scott Graduation Cards

Hello friends - I wanted to share a few grad cards I made

yesterday but the post didn't want to load!

I found the Michael Scott image on the internet & added 

a Micheal Scott quote that works for Graduation.

 The Grad caps are from The Lawn Fawn set You're Owlsome!

 One card was made with navy & the other bright blue.

 I added seqince to one card & used Nuvo drops for the other card.

The sequice are collecte from the last Crost & create Event.

The decorations on the table can be your next card!!

My kids love the office - and so many of their quotes are hilarious!
