February Challenge at Papercraft Business Challenge

Hello friends I am back to begin
a new month ans share with you a new challenge from

This month the these is Love / Valentines Day !

Here is what I created to share with you :

This month I used several different pieces of sets
 to create my interactive card.
I created a card with a stripped base,
layered a scalloped rectangle on top in a linen texture.
On top of that Ilayered a Envelope that opens into a heart.
I had to create a band to slip around the card to keep the heart closed.

The Heart envelope that pops open is Lawn Fawn Stitched Heart Envelope.
I have added a photo below as I used a few pieces if this die set.
The paper is Target of all places.
They had paper pads a few year back & I loved them!
I had them squired away waiting for the perfect project!

The scalloped rectangle is from the Lawn Fawn Heart set as well
as the Be Mine Sentiment.
This I die cut twice, stacked and added Wink of Stella to.
I wanted it to have a little shine.

My mouse is from Mama Elephant - Lunar Animals.
And the heart he is holding is Lawn Fawn Stinkin Cute.
I love the size of this heart.
I have several prepared and ready to go as I love to add it to so many things.
The small hearts stamped around my sentiment are
from Lawn Fawn Love Letters.
I felt like it needed a little something ans I got carried away!

The sentiment on the inside of the card is also from Lawn Fawn Love Letters.

Here is one last look at the finished card.

Sending Warm Wishes

Hello Friends
I had a little time tonight to
make a quick card!!

I looked at some challenge sites and came up with this CAS combination!

Stamp set is Lawn Fawn Simply Celebrate Winter
& the sentiment is Trees Before & After.
The snowmen were coloured and ready to go &
the tree set was sitting on my desk - a recent purchase!

The papers were some scraps I has on the end of my desk,
which is in need of a serious tidy!
I used wink of stella on the snowmen to
give them a little pizzazz!

Here are the Stamp sets used

The Best is Yeti to Come!

Hello friends -
today I had a little bit of time to play so I created a card
that fell inline with a few separate Card Challenge blogs!!

I had a few of these Lawn Fawn Yetis coloured
and on my desk from before Christmas.
That made the image quick & easy!
I had trees from Snow Bunnies set already coloured as well.

I used the Lawn Fawn Fawn Say Cheese Die to create
a frame for the the scene I created.
I used Tim Holtz Peacock Feather to in the clouds.
I made a mask out of the Lawn Fawn cloud die.

I love dimension as you all know,
so I popped up the frame and the hill they are standing on.
I left the trees flat against the background.
An the yetis have foam behind them as well to keep them up.
I also used embossing powder to give the snow on the hill sparkle,
and wink of stella on the heart.

I used My Minds Eye Love me 6x6 paper pad
for both of the strips of paper.

Christmas Cards throughout the year - Card One!

Hello Friends  -
I am here today with my first Christmas card of the year.

Today I was home not feeling well so I decided to Create
for a little bit.  After all it is relaxing!

Before I began to create I went through my
saved challenge site that I love to visit!
I designed the card to incorporate several blog challenges!
Thanks as always for the inspiration!

I started with The Lawn Fawn stamp Set Snow Bunnies.
I got this a few months ago & coloured the images but didn't create much!
So that was the first go to - I also needed a scarf for a challenge!
I used a little wink of Stella to give the Snowman a little sparkle.
I used a black glaze pen on their eyes asn noses.

I like to use foam adhesive as you all know to create dimension
and make my cards look not so flat!
It always adds so much to the cards.
I usually don't add white pen as I struggle with it -
but decided to do it -
I like it all except banner, the white doesn't look as good there.

This picture shows the layers a bit better -
I still struggle with photos but I get a little better every year -
so one day I will nail it!!

The challenge at Lawn Fawn right now is something old asn something new-
here are two pads of paper I have of theirs -
One I have had for a few years the other is Brand new!!
I had to cut the pad open to use it!!
I love their cute papers!!

I would like to enter in the following Challenges!

Dwell in Possibility - Virginia Nebel Inspired

Hello friends -
yes I am back again today to share yet another layout.

This layout was inspired by something Virginia Nebel created.
I purchased the kit but because I create 8x8 layouts I
can not follow along exactly as she has created them.

Here is the bright cheery double layout.
I love the big glittery words that she chose.

There is always a lot of details as well as layers.
I have several smaller photos for this layout but several are not my family -
I will add the photos now that its posted!!

the papers in the kits were very busy but the way she pairs them
are absolutely stunning.  I am not a huge fan of all the fussy
cutting but these flowers are a perfect pairing.

I love to layer all of the details with different thicknesses of adhesive foam.
It gives the layout a lot of dimension.
Unfortunately that doesn't always transfer well in photos.

When I take a photo from above it looks flat asn you don't see the layers.

When shrinking to a smaller canvas,
there enviably is a lot of overlapping elements.
I love to have a busy area of overlap.

I am always amazed than when I put so much in a small space it looks good to me -
not extremely cluttered.
then again it doesn't always start that way - makes one layout every 2-3 hours explains it.

Thanks for stopping by the see what I have been up to -
Come back again soon!

adding pinterest script 3. Changing the Position of the Pin it! button The cool thing about this code is that you have some freedom over where the Pinterest button for Blogger will go over the image. Take a look at the code that you just copied and pasted into the HTML for the word 'center'.
