Papercraft Business Challenge December

 Hello Crafty Friends -

Well it is the beginning of the Holidays,

but this year will not be the same without

all of the Christmas parties and get togethers,

so use your spare crafty time to get cards made &

send them to friends and family members you won't see.

Here is one that is going to a special crafty friend.

I used several different Lawn Fawn stamp sets to complete my card.
The deer & presents are from Toboggan Together,
The birch tree and cardinal are from Joy to the Woods,
The banner is Bannertastic, and the sentiment is from Beary Holiday.

The scalloped border and then the stitched hills dies form the background.
I used the stitched clouds to make a template to make the cloud sky
with Tim Holtz distress ink - you can use almost any blue or
combinations of blue you have.

I love to use foam adhesive to stack and build dimension to the card.                                     Each ground layer is popped up from the last and the scalloped border is popped up from the base.

The stack of presents offer a bright pop of colour in the white winter scene.

The Stamped sentiment didn't seem to pop & it was dry so I couldn't
emboss it, so I very carefully traced over with a red glitter marker.
I wanted to make sure is wasn't dull & boring.
Christmas should be bright and glitzy after all.

All in all I think this cute little card came together so well.

I adore the birch tree stamps - they really do make a plain card pop.

November Challenge - Paper Business Papercraft Challenge

 Hello Friends,

I am so glad to be back & sharing another

card challenge from Paper Business Papercraft Challenge.

The Challenge this month is a Christmas theme.

Here is what I created to share with you this month:

I decided to make a shadow box card.
I also decided to add another pannel to create a door.

When you open the door,  a cute winter scene is revealed.

I used the Lawn Fawn Snow Bunnies Stamp Set,
I used the cloud die on the back of the shadow box.
I love the layered scene you can create
with the shadow box die.

I added Wink of Stella to the touque, the Snow Bunny,
tops of the snow hill tops,
top of the clouds & the Merry Christmas on the cover.

Here is the little scene I created.

Here is a better view of the Wink of Stella Glitter.

I love to add detail to back of the box,
it helps complete the scene.

Here is what the card looks like as you open it,
and the scene is revealed.

I created a smaller scene on the cover,
I used the oval from the Shadow box die,
added a hill, clouds, trees from the
Lawn Fawn Ready Set Snow stamp set,
and finished it off with the
My Favorite Things Merry Christmas die.

Here are the products that I used to create the card:

First Birthday Cards

Hello Friends!

I am back today to share a couple cute cards
that I made for a first birthday party.

I used a template from Pinterest and some coloured images
that I had prepped and ready to go.
I am going to apologize

now for the horrible photos -
I some how got rid of the good ones!  eek

I used the template from Pinterest
( see link below - I want to give credit where it is due)
I created clouds and used the MFT Dragon Stamp Set.
After that i used some stickles to jazz it up & make it worthy of a princess.
The Happy Birthday die is from Spellbinders.

The second card I used the same template, and inked to background
and layered hills as the ocean floor.
The stamp set is MFT Mermaid.
The banner at the top is Lawn Fawn Bannertastic.

Here is the awesome template I used for the cards.

Thanks for stopping to see me today !!

Papercraft Business Challenge - June !!! Ocean

Hello Friends,
June is here already WOW!!!
Time seperated from friends & family is going by so fast!
I hope you are all safe & enjoying some down time.

the these of the month is Ocean or water

Here is what I created for you !!

I created an Under The Sea card!
You look through the porthole to the ocean where my
diver is exploring the depths of ocean and its creatures.

I created the ocean background with the Tim Holtz distress inks,
and misted them to give it a textured background.
Now that everything is on it you can't see the waves
I make with a mask, but they are there,
lighter at the top asn dark as you go down.

Next I started to build my scene,
i used flatter pop dots for the sea creatures & diver,
I didn't want them flat against the blue.
Then I added the seaweed -
which is the hanging moss from the bayou background die.
I uses texture paper asn coloured them with two copic greens
for a pop of colour and layered look.

I love that he looks like his is behind the rock coral & seaweed.
I added the pothole to a piece of acetate to make it look
like a real glass window.  I used wink of stella on the
frame to add a little glitz!

It is so hard to show the acetate!
Trust me it's there.

The last think I did was add the submarine to the outside.
I colour a bunch of the stamp set before I start to build the screen.
So I always have extra pieces - like the sub & a mermaid!
She didn't make the cut today!

The is the inside of the card
I usually put the sentiment on the outside but everywhere I put it,
it distracted from the scene.
This is the wave template I used,
I thought it would be a cute touch to the inside!

Here are the supplies I uses ( minus copic markers )
you are sublime | Lawn Fawn mermaid for you | Lawn Fawn porthole frames | Lawn Fawn Amazon.com: Lawn Fawn Dies - Bayou Backdrop (LF1624)
