Gnome Garden

Every year we have a Gnome Garden but I had not
loaded photos for you this year -
I wish I had taken pictures as the plants grew up around the house.

Food for thought next year!

It is in front of our front stairs.  I love the way the plants grew up around it this year.

The Gnomes bought a BBQ ans set it up beside the house this summer.
Who doesn't love a BBQ in the summer?

This year we added a Lemonade Stand!

A few Gnomes were hiding in the over grown Coulis.

Even out Amethyst miner was hidden.
You can barely see the wagon full of purple treasure.

The front door,

The Moose is almost camouflaged in there.

Hope you enjoyed our Tour -

check back to see the fall decor!

Re-Labeling

As I was trying to clean up and Organize
I decided it was time to replace the fading the labels on my bins.

I also replaced the labels in my drawers that had label maker labels.

The top label is the old faded one,
the bottom one is the new fresh one.

The small set of drawers on my desk were all labeled
with a label maker but I just didn't love it.

Here is the new labels, much better.

Here are another set with labelmaker labels.

and the nice new labels.

I will share all of the storage once I get it all organized -
Stay Tuned.

Spectrum Noir Marker Storage

I took my Spectrum Noir markers to camp this summer to colour,
it was awesome!
It did however solidify the thought that my storage of them needed to be changed.
I had them in a black basket divided by basics colour.
It was taking me too long to find the colours I wanted.

So when I was first injured, this was mt first organizing task.
My friend had hers in a card storage bin,

So here is what I came up with, So far so good.

Here is wha I had at camp, see the basket.

Here is my lovely new case.

I have cardstock with duct tape along the top to protect the
cardstock and give it strength.
There is one in between each row.

Here is the case snapped shut.
I can put images in the top if needed.
All safe & sound.

Hope this helped you or inspired you!

With Sympathy

A few months ago a dear friend, her daughter and sister-in-law,
all of whom I am friends with lost a loved one.

When close friends need a card they get homemade cards,
I was short on Sympathy cards so I created these with a friend
& I made extras for my card box.

The passing of a loved one is never easy,
but I like to think receiving kind words in a hand crafted card
makes you feel the love of friendship & helps.

MIA All Summer & Alpha Organization

Hello All

Every Summer I go missing to spend time with my family at camp.

Our summer season is  short here as I live in Northern Ontario Canada,
so we get outside for a few months & I rarely enter my Scrapbooking room.

This summer as we had our Long weekend wind up,
the beginning of September, I had a miss hap on a side by side ATV
and have been on a lot of bed rest.

I have been surfing the net and checking out all the blogs,
but typing was to hard on my side.

So over the next few days I will catch you up on a
few things I have been able to do.

Today was one of my first days to get in the room and
poke around a bit to find thing to do will resting.

I decided that my Alpha Stickers needs to me organized as I
took everything off of my Clip it up & it will be rehomed at a friends!

I loved this bin and wanted something good to put in it.
I tried a few things but they didn't fit well.
I hope this works well.  It sits under my desk beside my feet.
you can see this area as you walk into my room so I think this will look neat and tidy.
They are folders that are open with the flap up
as some alphas are too wide for the pouches
I labeled the top flaps so i can pull out what ever colour I need.
I have also added my thickers to this bin.
They were up on a shelf & I didn't use them often, hoping to change that.

Well thats I all i have for today,
check back through out the week to see what else I have been up to.

adding pinterest script 3. Changing the Position of the Pin it! button The cool thing about this code is that you have some freedom over where the Pinterest button for Blogger will go over the image. Take a look at the code that you just copied and pasted into the HTML for the word 'center'.
