Lawn Fawn - Seasons Tweetings

Every year my friends and I trade Christmas tags,
as you may have seen in an early post.

I used the Lawn Fawn Season Tweetings to make one of my tags.

I wanted to try to watercolour the birds with Distress Inks

Next step was to die cut the birds and twigs.

There was a lot of pieces all together - that was a lot of colouring & cutting.

Then to make the tags -
I ran them through the big shot with the snow SU folder.
Then stamped my sentiment.

Then assembly. over & over

I changed it up by popping the birds up after a few.

I love the dimension it gives.

Hope you enjoyed them!
Stop by and check out more to be loaded in the next few days.

Lawn Fawn - Cherry Christmas Christmas Cards

Well I started another batch of Christmas cards,
and while I adore there ones,
they are very time consuming!!

I used the Lawn Fawn Cheery Christmas Stamp & Die Set.

I found a layout I likes on Pinterest and gave it my own spin.

First it was colouring all stamped images, then cutting them out with dies.
I needed 3 strings of lights for each card
so there was a lot on running die through for one item.

Then cutting out a blue and  a white background for each item.
The white was then cut again with a stitched rolling hill.

Then assembly.

 times seven.

Then finding background I liked ans lastly,
I used the Glossy Accents for the nose, light bulbs & star.

Once the background was done, I added the bases.

Here as a few of the combinations.

Crop & Create 2017

October was my 4th Crop & Create Event.

It was awesome as always they never disappoint.

My leg was still pretty sore & injured so I stood most of the time
& did take as many pictures as usual!

This year we had large sheets of paper to work on.
They were awesome, here is mine with a few of my leftovers around it.

Here we are arriving & settling in.

We had these cards in our bags - we had wonderful attendee bags again as always.
I will have pictures of this soon.
The pin is a Doodlebug Enamel Pin, and were available
for purchase, so of course I had to have one.

Here is the crew in the new t-shirts we made for the crop.

Here are the little goodie bags that I made for the girls.
He all have a little goodie for each other.

A few days ago we registered for the Winnipeg Crop & Create in the spring,
so I will be able to attend 2 next year!!

What a great and well organized Crop!

Enamel Dot Storage

I opened my Enamel dot case and they popped out
just like a spring loaded snake.

I seperated the sheets so the dots could be sorted by colour.

I then attached them along the top of a cardstock sheet and
inserted them inside of a plastic bag to keep them protected.

They are only attached at the top so that I can place paper
under the strips to match colours.

Hopefully this helps me find what I need faster,
and keep everything organized.

Have a crafty day.

In My Creative Opinion

I wondered onto the blog In my Creative Opnion Today
what a great site - hop on over asn check it out

Paper Organization

For the last 10 weeks I have been recovering from a leg mishap.
It seems to be taking forever.
While I have been recovering I have done a lot of Pinteresting &
watching videos about organizing and scrapbooking.

So I will share a few tasks that I have done.

I was gifted a bunch of Stampin Up Scraps,
so I started to sort them by colour and size.

Next I sorted in my scraps that I had,
they needed to be resorted just a bit.

Next I needed to clean out the drawer behind my 8.5 x 11 cardstock.

I hung files with colour tabs on the top of the files for the scraps.

I now have my 12x12, 8.5x11 and scraps all in my desk drawer
beside where I sit so everything is at my fingertips.

Hopefully this helps to get more of these get used up.

Have a create day!!

adding pinterest script 3. Changing the Position of the Pin it! button The cool thing about this code is that you have some freedom over where the Pinterest button for Blogger will go over the image. Take a look at the code that you just copied and pasted into the HTML for the word 'center'.
