Final Easter Project

So here is it,
while the Cricut was out I started to cut more smaller eggs &
change up something I saw on Pinterest.

Here it is,
I have the bunting in black as well.
I cut 3 eggs in each colour & attached them like the last project.
except instead of attaching them together on all sides, I attached them to the bunting.
Once they were all attached, I used more of the fibers from my stash.

And here it is hung on the back door.
this time I attached it with yellow flower pins.

That's it for now,
Have a very Blessed Easter.

I am off to cheer for some Hockey & enjoy my family!

Easter Decor Part 2

The Bunting Made for the Kitchen just didn't seam to have enough
Weight so I thought I would add to it.

I did see these on Pinterest!!

Seeing as the Cricut was out,
I cut a few eggs out.

I folded them in half and attached them together.
I added a string to the center and a
decorative bead to the end to jazz it up.

I hung them in the center from the pot light.

Here they are up close.

And here they are hanging with the bunting.

Thanks so stopping buy.
I have one more project for my Easter Decor to share tomorrow.

Hope your having fun getting ready for Easter!

Easter Decor - DIY

I decided to make some new Easter Decor,
So as always I looked on Pinterest, but this time nothing stuck,
So I sat down and got creative.

So I came up with a bunting because I
really liked having the Halloween one up on the Kitchen.

So I started with a package of Bunting I got at the
Target Dollar spot over a year ago.

I actually cracked out the Cricut
which hasn't been out in ALMOST 4 YEARS!
I covered all of the Buntings and put the letters on.

Next I used a bunch of fibers that I have had for years!
I added a bit of Extra to the ends.
Here is the Left Window,
And the right window.
And here they are together.  It was pretty bright and no matter what I did
I couldn't get a good picture.

I like to use decorative pins to hang up the buntings on the curtain.

I have a few more Decorations I am working on,
Stay tuned!

Say Cheese Mini Album Continued

Ok, the last post we saw the first few pages of the
Mini Album for my daughter here are the next few pages.

A lot of the ideas were help from my Scrappy friends at
Crop & Create two years ago,
especially Mini Album Extraordinaire Denise.

Here are some more:

 page 8-9 & 10/11

This is a half page - just enough to hold 2 small pics and journaling.

 pages 12 / 13 & 14/15
Instead of having another regular page insert, Denise suggested a page flip.
If that is what you call it anyway.

Next post Will Be Disney!!!

Come back to see ....

LA / Arizona / Disney Mini Album - Simple Stories Say Cheese

In 2015 my daughter and I went on a trip for a gymnastics competition.
She was planning retiring from the sport so added a few days to the
trip  to make it a memorable send off.

I decided to make a simple store album for her of our tirp,
I am still not done but want to wrap up the now 2 album book
foe her upcoming birthday.
It has turned into 2 books as she cam out of retirement after 9 months
to compete another season and a half.
So had another trip to add to in.

Here is the first few pages,
I plan on breaking the book up into several posts,
or this post would be SOOO long.

So here we go - this is the first page -
the cover will come soon, its not done yet.

 page 2-3

 page 4-5

as I was going through this I saw I was missing a pic
of the Santa Monica Pier sign & the journaling!

 page 6-7

the tag comes out for double sided journaling.

Several places I added Glossy Accents to the printed Cardstock to jazz it up.

Stay tuned for several more pages!

Young Love Layout FNS

I have had these pictures of Garett and his girlfriend for almost 4 years -
I have attempted to scrapbook them with no luck,

So tonight I went to Friday Night Scrapbooking and
took out the pre-cut papers that wouldn't go together,
and for some reason with a few of my friend Tracy's scraps,
it all fell into place....

These photos were taken 4 years ago on Easter weekend.
I am amazed at how well they work together to stay together.
They were thousands of miles apart all year,
they both say it wants easy sometimes,
but they both are worth it.

Dryden Ice Dogs Moving On ...

If you follow my Blog at all you know that I am a Hockey Mom.

My Oldest son Garett Plays for the Dryden GM Ice Dogs.  It is a Jr A team.

The had a fantastic year & broke a few franchise records,
and can be a force to be reckoned  with on the ice.
All in all they are all a good group of boys who give back and are active
in the town at schools, events & running PA Day camps.

They entered the Semi Finals against the Fort Frances Lakers.
The had an amazing series taking the Lakers in a 4 Game Sweep.

At game one of the series they had a poster contest
to decorate the arena.  I wasn't able to go but I sent my
little guy & hubby with a few posters none the less.

Alex has to be the biggest fan of Garett & owns most of the Dryden gear.
He is always cheer ready.

He even has his own set of team cards!

They didn't win but that didn't stop Alex & Garett's Billet
sisters from making a few more the next day for Garett &
the other boy, Chris Atanis, who also lives in the house.

our last name is Giertuga, Garett's nic name is Gurtz,
my daughter is called T Gurtz
& little Alex is Little Gurtz or baby Gurtz.

After winning the first 2 games in Dryden -
Alex & UI headed to my home town of Fort Frances for game three,
signs, hoodies & cheers in tote.

He treats all of the players as if they were his team and
is there to support them when ever we can be.

When we were there, we were given a copy of the local paper from the week previous,
I have to say I proud to see him make the local paper!
My aunt works there so I am sure she had a hand in it! Thanks Auntie!

Well Guys I better end the post before it becomes too long -

the next series begins April 14 & 15.
I am supposed to have a crop on the 15th, which I will be at, Unless Scott gets the
weekend off - which not likely.
I love my scrappy friends but these are his first Jr A playoffs &
and I have learned to quickly they grow up fast &
the day is gone all to soon.

Make amazing memories with the people you love today!

adding pinterest script 3. Changing the Position of the Pin it! button The cool thing about this code is that you have some freedom over where the Pinterest button for Blogger will go over the image. Take a look at the code that you just copied and pasted into the HTML for the word 'center'.
