Thank You Pivot Pop up Card! CAS Colours & Sketches

Something new for you guys again today!

I tried a small Pivot Pop-up Card -
It is BEYOND fun to pop open!
I will be making more of these for sure!

I co-ordinated my card with this months challenge over at
CAS Colours & Sketches
Here is their colour swatch challenge:

Now for my card!
I selected a stamp set that I could create a scene with.
I used my  MFT Mermazing stamp.

This card is a bit smaller than a regular A4 card,
I wanted the pivot pop-up to feel sized to the card.

Here is the front:
I just adore these cute Mermaids!!
My cute little mermaid is just hanging out in the ocean!
I inked the water with a mask I made & layered
Peacock feather  & Broken china Ranger Distress ink.
Next a added seaweed & coral in layers with
my Memento ink, and added 2 schools of fish for interest.
I popped up the rock and mermaid to give some more interest & depth to the card.
Lastly I added the sentiment on lower pop dots.

Here is the inside of the card:

As always here is a closer look at the pop up scene.
I love closer looks at everything!!
I needed to keep most of the items flat to allow the card to fold up.
I created this insert in almost the same way as the cover,
I did add the ocean floor using Wild Honey & Vintage photo distress ink,
I dabbed the applicator to give the sand a stippled or pebbled look.

My mermaid is covered in Stickles ~ to give her a little pizzazz!!
It also gives the flat scene a pop!
The seashells have Wink of Stella on them, this doesn't show up well in photos
unless I angle the card in a close up.

Short of adding a video here on  my blog,
I wanted to give you an idea of how the card
pops-up & pivots!
I hope these photos help!!
My daughter loved this card - the scene and the surprise inside!

Thank you as always for stopping in to see my creations!!

adding pinterest script 3. Changing the Position of the Pin it! button The cool thing about this code is that you have some freedom over where the Pinterest button for Blogger will go over the image. Take a look at the code that you just copied and pasted into the HTML for the word 'center'.
