Papercraft Business Challenge November - Lawn Fawn Winter Alpaca

Hello Friends I am back again this month for another
exciting challenge at Papercraft Business Challenge.

This Month the challenge is Christmas Animal.
Of course Lisa always has anything goes,
but if you follow the guide you will receive a secon ballot to win a great prize!

Here is what I created:

These cute Christmas tags were created for a tag exchange my friends ans I have each year,
and each year I create one labor intensive Lawn Fawn Tag.
I know they love them, so I just love to do it!

First I colour up a stack of these cute Alpacas,
and I cut them out on me NEW Scan N Cut!

The next step was to cut out stitched Circles,
I used my Stampin' up dies & blue scraps of card stock.
Next I embossed them with with a snow background for interest,
embossing folder also from Stampin' up.

For every 2 blue circles I cut one white.
I then cut 2 hills fro each circle with my
Lawn Fawn Stitched hillside dies.

Next I added my Sentiment that came with the Alpaca set.
I also used White Picket Fence ink to make my falling snow pop up a bit.

I added the second half of my sentiment to the snow
& attached my snow with foam tape.
I wanted to add a little tip I recently started.
My desk gets littered with a ton of tiny tape backs
and small slivers of paper what don't make it to the trash right away.
I have started to use this cute Rae Dunn tray to hold all of my little garbage, Especially the back of my red line tape that is super clingy.  Hope that helps some of you!!

Next I assembles the tag, and liked it , but it needed more!

I went back and stamped a few snowflakes to
my background and a small heart to my bottom sentiment.
This gave it a little more interest.
I also added eyelets ( as I have a TON) and twine.

Once I was happy witht he front I was able to add To and From on the back,
as they are gift tags after all.

All in all I think they are Super Cute!!

So I hope I inspired you to create a fun Christmas Animal Item,

Halloween Card MFT Which way is the Candy

Hello my friends
here is another cute fun card
I created with the MFT Which way is the candy?

Isn't she just the cutest?

I loved to play around and distress the background.
Loved playing with the shadows on her hat and face.
I wish I could find more reasons to use her in the year other than Halloween.

I need to work on my pumpkins, but this is such a fun set to colour.
If you don't have this set, it is a must.

I would like to enter it into the following Challenges:

Halloween Tags

Hello Friends
Just a quick post today with some tags I made and
mailed to a friend.
I enclosed a few dollars for her to attach these tags to a few chocolate bars.
of Course I included a card but you will need to come back to see that !!

Here are my tags :

I used the LF Booyah Stamp Set

This cute little set is full of ghosts and
accessories for them to dress up for Halloween.

I had a few tags in my stash so I
distress inked them in haloween colours.
I spritzed with water cause then they look cool,
and added my sentiment & ghost.

I glittered them after,
probably should have left them plain,
but next time!!

The kids will like them,
not as much as their chocolate bars , but Mom was happy!

Simple Stories Summer Days Layout

Hello Friends, I am back today to share another layout.
I created this layout with the Simple Stories Summer Days line.
This really came together nicely and I am so pleased
that I was able to use the big card on the left.
The skies were very blue this day, however,
all of my picks have the clay hill as the background. lol

Alex is in the crevasse that  the water made when washing down the face of the cliff.
He could play here all day!

The flags were inspired by the onse that you could get from October afternoon.
I just loved all of their product.
This line from SS reminds me of OA.

Good thing that this hill is beside the lake
to wash off - he is always covered head to toe!

I especially like when a line of paper has
some sayings stickers.
I makes the layout just come together ans co-ordinate so well!
Live in the sun
well he does that!

Here is the second page,
I like that I had a bit more room to journal on this page.
I often forget that I need to tell a story
for them to read years later-
pictures are awesome -
but the story does matter!

This is the little cave / wash out that the crevasse leads into.
What kids don't want to find a cool cave to play in.

I also love the Stampin Up label punch
It gives you a burst of colour and
gives me an area to label or date pictures.

Here is my journal block,
I really need to journal more!!

Thanks for stopping by to seee my layout,
please leave a comment & let me know,
do you journal enough?

In Pursuit of Happiness

Here is one of my favorite pictures of Alex.
When he is at camp, I call him - Camp Boy.

These papers are all older K&Company.
They are from a pad that lost its cover and is 13 or so years old.
It was just waiting for the perfect pictures.

He rides his bike all over camp -
he is a little racer!

I made this layout at a crop,
I opened my bin of extras and played until
I found a grouping that worked.
I only wish I inked this layout.

I have had these burlap stickers so awhile -
got alot of those used up too!!

It feels so good to get layouts finished,
even better when you are using us the stash to do it!!

Thanks for coming by to check out my layout,
I hope I inspired you to use that stash up too!!
adding pinterest script 3. Changing the Position of the Pin it! button The cool thing about this code is that you have some freedom over where the Pinterest button for Blogger will go over the image. Take a look at the code that you just copied and pasted into the HTML for the word 'center'.
