Christmas Card Friday!

Well it's  Christmas Card Friday.

I missed the last two Fridays so I have a special 

one coming tomorrow  -  so come on back!

but with out delay here is my creation - 

Oh I adore this one - 

Obviously we aren't ready right now - 

but I thought 

this would be great for a friend who lives in another city.

The little Yeti is getting ready to put up the Christmas lights.

I added  a dot to the top of the i with the glaze pen, 

there isn't one on the stamp, I just liked it.

As you can see on the bottom of the photo I have 

built each layer of snow up crating a 3D scene, 

the trees just add to the depth of the card!

 Isn't he the cutest???

He is MFT BB Beast Friends

I used glaze pen on his eyes & teeth, 

then i put glossy accents on the teeth & light bulbs.

I liked the way it gave the teeth dimension.

As you can see here, I also used the glossy accents on the windows.

I love to add these little details to my cards!!

The houses are Lawn Fawn Happy Village,

snow mounds are Lawn Fawn stitched cloud die,

& the trees are Lawn Fawn stitched tree borders.

I just adore the way this card turned out!

Love You Layout

I wanted to share this layout I created with a photo of my daughter.

Every once in awhile I take one of her Instagram
photo and scrapbook it.  I feel like these photos
show she truly is & more importantly how she views herself.
I am not gonna lie to you - she is gorgeous,
and always looks good even is sweats!

This photo is from a few years ago,
I am a little slow getting layouts done sometimes!

The layout was created again with a
Scrapbook & Cards today kit that I adapted.
The original layout was cute, but I have a hard
time calling instructions at the best of times!!

I Love Moo!

Well I managed to fit in a little 

play time & look at some current challenges.

I tried to combine a few and here 

is what I came up with.

I had fun playing with Lawn Fawn's Hay There.

The layout is from Lawn Fawns sketch challenge this week.

I love the scene in the center circle!

& I enjoyed playing at Sunny Days Challenge last week, 

this week the challenge is to use cows!

The challenge over at Little Red Wagon 

is paperpiecing this week 

& I wanted to do something unique.

How many Cow's and barns are paper pieced? lol !

As you can see I pieced the cows spots, 

the hay, the barn door & the cloud.

A few of the piecings I popped up!

The best is that over st Simon Says Stamp the challenge this week is 

to create a card " for the boys", using Lawn fawn for a bonus.

You're Rawr-some!

I have been waiting to play with this stamp.

I have been so busy with mothers days cards

 I took a little break for these cuties!

 I had fun colouring up this guys and even added

 little dots to them to give them texture.

I never did this before but thanks to all of the wonderful 

blog challenges - we all learn new tricks!

Lastly I added black glaze dots to his eyes.

I like the look they give them!

More Mother's Day Cards!! Shocker I know!!

Well here we go with yet another round of Mother's day cards- 

I was planning on spreading them out a little - 

but I have spent so much time creating - I haven't had time to post !

  I just love these little Otters.

I used TH Distress inks to create the water, 

and the white waves are Lawn Fawn White embossing powder.

I wasn't to concerned with getting all of the extra off - 

I like the little white dots creating effect.

The Pop-up box & cloud die are Lawn Fawn,

The otter stamp is MFT, 

and sentiment is Lawn Fawn Happy Happy Happy.

The back of the card is where you write your sentiment.

I added an extra little otter for fun.

Here is the little box closed.

I try to space everything in my boxes so that is makes a pretty scene.

They suggest closing the box in the envelope but I like to 

have the flaps in the from folded down so 

it is just at pretty when you pull it out.

My next card is just as cute - I have made a few of these 

elephant pop -ups.  All of the product is Lawn Fawn, 

Elphie Slefie Stamp & Happy happy Happy.

I try to stamp the envelopes as well - 

I feel like it just adds that little touch 

to make it special.

I loved them closed, 

just too cute!

Family Layout

Hello all with all of the card post lately,

 I thought I would share a Scrapbook layout 

I completed with at a Crop last month!

This layout is adapted From a Scrapbook & Cards today kit that originally 

was created for a 12x12 layout.  Mine are pint size at 8.5x8.5.

This photo was taken last summer & I love it.

Butterfly Mother's Day Cards!

Well here we go again today - 

I warned you yesterday that this week would

be loaded with Mother's Day cards.

Here is the first one, 

It was made specially for a friends mom.

 She wanted a butterfly, 

but for one of  my besties one wouldn't do!!

 I love the cool calm colour palete.

 3 of the butterflies are floating 

attached to thick acetate.

 The back has a frame - 

to enter her sentiments.

 Here is the card closed.

I love to make sure that 

it is a great scene as the card

 comes out of the envelope.

Card number 2 is a beautiful blue butterfly.

 I love the way this adds to the delicate background paper.

I love the border & I love the layered happy die.

Same Card, different paper.

I just changed the sentiment to silver

& added rhinestones.

 This card has a layered blue cut underneath.
