Papercraft Business Challenge - June !!! Ocean

Hello Friends, 

June is here already WOW!!!

Time seperated from friends & family is going by so fast!

I hope you are all safe & enjoying some down time.

This month at Business Papercraft Challenge 

the these of the month is Ocean or water

Here is what I created for you !!

 I created an Under The Sea card!

You look through the porthole to the ocean where my

diver is exploring the depths of ocean and its creatures.

 I created the ocean background with the Tim Holtz distress inks,

and misted them to give it a textured background.

Now that everything is on it you can't see the waves

I make with a mask, but they are there,

 lighter at the top asn dark as you go down.

 Next I started to build my scene, 

i used flatter pop dots for the sea creatures & diver, 

I didn't want them flat against the blue.

Then I added the seaweed - 

which is the hanging moss from the bayou background die.

I uses texture paper asn coloured them with two copic greens 

for a pop of colour and layered look.

 I love that he looks like his is behind the rock coral & seaweed.

I added the pothole to a piece of acetate to make it look 

like a real glass window.  I used wink of stella on the 

frame to add a little glitz!

 It is so hard to show the acetate! 

Trust me it's there.

 The last think I did was add the submarine to the outside.

I colour a bunch of the stamp set before I start to build the screen.

So I always have extra pieces - like the sub & a mermaid!

She didn't make the cut today!  

The is the inside of the card 

I usually put the sentiment on the outside but everywhere I put it, 

it distracted from the scene.

This is the wave template I used,  

I thought it would be a cute touch to the inside!

Live a Life You Love - Double Page Layout

I am sure my Roll will stop here!

I miss posting for you guys, 

however with the weather getting warmer, 

asn summer being so short I try to make the most of it !

Here is another spin off of a Crop & Create Kit that 

I made into a 8x8, the original is 12x12.

Because I use less paper I often have left over to make another.

SO I got 3!

 I love the simpleness to this layout!

and the Kraft!

 I had the gold spritz out from previous so that got added!!

The lazer flower is a mask that the designer saif to cut up!

How crazy is that right!

 Yes Enamel dots! asl always I must have more dots always.

 I just adore these little groupings!

 Here is my third page to use up papers !!

 it really just used up more of the left overs from the first layout -

 I used some of another stencil on this one - the dotted paper - 

I love this idea!

Family Double page Layout

Hello again !!

I seam to be on a bit of a roll!

Today is a simple layered grouping layout 

 I used some of my shimmer pain to splatter here & there.

I lobe areas that have grouped items.

These flowers as pins that I have had for too long!

A woog butterfly & wood brad all painted with the gold sritz

to tie them together.

 Topped off the page with enal dots! 

I love these little jemms added everywhere - 

I possibly over use them !!

Grouping on second page isn't as fancy 

added touches of the gold to tie it all in.

Thankful double layout

Hello Friends

Just another pop in to share another reworked

Crop & Create kit. These were left overs that I used

to get another double done.

These are not the normal style paper I work with 

so that make it fun and interesting 

 I am not a fussy cutter by nature - 

but this vellum paper was beautiful cut up on the layout- 

something I never think of doing.

 It is super shiny Gold with a sparkle of it !

The last picture just didn't do it justice!

 Page 2 is more simple but lets the flowers POP!

Love Double Layout

Hello friends just popping in to share a double layout 

that is a smaller version of a Virgina Nebel Design 

for Crop & Create  / Scrapbook & Cards today Kits.

She created the most beautiful layouts but they are all 12x12

asn I do 8x8 so I have to get creative is I am gonna try to follow along.

Regardless I love the way they turn out!

 Here is the 2 page spread.  I love the elements - 

they are gorgeous but not things I would normally choose to work with.

 This page one - I cut clouds from a patterned paper the moon from another paper, 

which I then covered in wink of stella as I love a little glitz!

a Strip of Polaroid sqaure across the bottom.

to finish it off a pic of Hubby & I

 Page 2 has the rest of the moon, 

this large glitter word Love, more clouds and the 

polaroids have a skyline in them.

this little vard was part of the kit, i tucked it behind the picture.

I love alot of layers!
