Her challenge was a choice of a card sketch or a layout 

and it had to be a Birthday theme 

here is the card sketch I chose

and here is my card ....

Thought it was pretty cute...

I don't have an oval cutter and

if you knew me ... a hand cut oval never turns out to my standard to 

I pulled out the only oval punched I owned and got creative!!

I did it late last night while I was being creative with a new TRACY 

inspired project - 

reveal on that to come....

 Yesterday was also a great mail day ....

another crafty friend turned me onto Peachy Cheap & 

man do I love treats delivered to the door!!

Especially October afternoon ....

Sketch N Scrap 2nd Birthday Bash! **Circles**

Ok -  on to the next challenge ...

as you can see I knocked a few out last night - 

It was a late scrap night or Early LOL !!!!

The next challenge is from 

Darcy at Our House of E ...

Dacry's challenge was to use circles 

& she said her fav were stitched circles 

which I had never done ... so I went with it ...

Here is her Sketch

Note before your proceed - 

her stitching is so much better - ! LOL 

And my take ....

My Grandmother lost her husband in March & I have always loved these pictures of them .

I picked these paper as they remind me of quilt fabric she would pic .... so I hand stitched , , ,

Surama's challenge was to create a layout in which

 everything you added to your page was in twos.

This is harder than you think!! LOL 

I redid mine ...... almost twice !

Here is her layout

 

She used:

2 cardstocks - 2 photos - 2 patterned papers - 2 flowers - 2 banners

2 washi tape - 2 decorative staple bars - 2 ribbons - 2 buttons - 2 brads - 

2 stamps - 2 colors wash spray - title with 2 words

Here is what I came up with 

I used 

2 pictures with 2 girls in each wear 2 piece bathing suits LOL!!!

2 patterned papers

2 stamps

2 rub ons

2 banners

2 buttons

2 bows

2 staples

2 washi tape

2 circle stickers

2 initials

primarily 2 colours Blue & Yellow - I never count white

Well i am still keeping up over at Sketch-n-Scrap

The nest challenge I had was from Jennifer at Live in the Moment

This is the cute layout she did and wanted us to scraplift it...

normally you have to look to see how I got from a to b - but not today 

Here is what I created ....

this is often how my 4yr old looks as he is so used to getting his way

with the older kids around - he can usually convince some one ...

Well I am on a roll 

& have completed the third Challenge at Sketch N Scrap.

I Changed the Sketch around a bit - as I tend to do 

The Sentiment was supposed to be square with a 

round background - I REVERSED it !! What a rebel! lol

 this is the inside ....

Other than that changing the shapes - I have a flower, gross grain ribbon, 

top of the card and bottom are different colours - 

or Shades with a vellum overlay ...

and I even coloured the image with my copics! .

My friend Tracy would be proud ..

I made it at Tracy's National Scrap Day Crop 

I am not loving the dice - 

they may get changed now that I am home and have a larger stash to use .... LOL

but this is what I made .....

Like I said the dice were supposed to take place for the hearts ...

They may need to be changed - 

until then ... this is the challenge !
